ARONIA

Anikonic Aronia wine is a dry full-bodied fruit wine. It is made from Aronia berries (Aronia Melanocarpa), ecologically grown on the farm in Øvre Eiker region in southeast Norway. The antioxidant-rich Aronia berries ripened over long Norwegian summer days, which give this wine its deep purple colour, great textural sensation, and rich aromas of late-ripening reds.  â€‹

 

Crowning touch to our Aronia wine was the ageing of the  casks, which were previously seasoned by legendary Madeira wine and mighty Norwegian Aquavit. This carefully monitored ageing process gave our wine its distinctive warm and spicy accord.​

 

This tannin-rich wine is well balanced in acidity and lavishly combines tart fruit and savoury characters. Pairs perfectly with red meats, game, aged cheese or enjoyed on its own as aperitif.

Best served at room temperature.

MEADOWSWEET

Meadowsweet (Latin:Filipendula ulmaria) is a delicate plant with white small flowers that spread sweet scent from early summer to early autumn.


Anikonic mead herb wine is a semi-dry white fruit wine produced on selected pears and mead herb from Østre Torp just outside Drøbak. We use hand-picked meadowsweet that grows wild in Østre Torp.


Complex aroma and taste of juicy Williams pears, beeswax and ripe lemon peel. Well balanced between acidity and sweetness. Long lasting.
